Fruit Infused Water – The Best Combinations!
During spring and summer, people tend to consume plenty of water. But, in addition to the well-known classic lemonade, you can use many other fruit combinations. Fruit infused water is perfect for your health and it will refresh your body instantly. Water with natural fruit flavors and herbs are ideal healthy refreshment. Make it in large quantities and store it in a fridge in order to serve it cold.
Pina colada
Well, this may not be the pina colada you know, but you can imagine it is at least because of the presence of coconut. In order to prepare this fruit infused water, you need to take a few slices of pineapple, cut them and place them in a jar. Mash these slices with a fork, use few tablespoons of coconut milk as a cover and pour the water. Allow this mixture to stay in the refrigerator for several hours before serving. You can remove the pieces of fruit with draining or leave it like that.
Raspberry and lime
Who doesn’t like the taste of raspberries? This fruit in a combination with lime provides an extra refreshing beverage. So, to prepare this fruit infused water, you will need a handful of raspberries. Mash them and place in a jar. Pour the water and add some lime chopped into rings and slices. Squeeze each piece of lime just a little bit in order to let some juices flow. Cover the jar, stir it a little bit and put it in the fridge.
Kiwi and strawberry
Here’s another excellent fruit infused water. Pour four slices of kiwi and six strawberries in a large bottle or jar. Mash them well and pour in the water. Shake well and leave it for a couple of hours to cool.
Mint and lemon
This unusual combination gives a very refreshing and energetic taste. Put a few leaves of fresh mint in a jar and squeeze them a little bit to release the juice, but try not to break these leaves. Cut two lemons in half, squeeze the juice from them and put them in a jar. Pour the water. If the water is chilled or you have placed some ice cubes, you can drink the fruit infused water right away because lemon and mint need only a minute or two to release the juices.
Melon and cucumber
Cut a sweet and soft melon into squares. Fill half a jar with these squares. Mash them a little bit and after that add the cucumbers cut in rings. You don’t need to mash the cucumbers because they release their flavor instantly. Of course, pour the water, stir and put them in the fridge before serving.
