Serving food

It is probably a better idea to serve the meals in dishes and serve the meals like that because in this way they will all (including you) eat less.

Setting the right amount and type of ingredients

People who are trying to lose weight usually choose some strict measures and decide to stay away from most foods and that’s why they get bored so easily. This means that you should reduce the portion size for you and tell your children that you are satisfied if they eat at least half of the food.

This is something that you have probably heard, but Wansink has confirmed that it really works. You will eat less food if you serve it in small dishes or bowls. He performed a simple test in which people ate about 20% more cereals when they were served in bigger bowls.
